Product Classification
- Rigid mineral insulated cable (BTTZ): composed of copper conductor, magnesium oxide insulation and copper sheath, it has excellent fire-resistant performance, but the bending performance is poor and the installation is complicated.
- Flexible mineral insulated cable: improved on the basis of rigid structure, using stranded copper conductor and mica tape and other inorganic insulating materials, the outer layer has a metal sheath and plastic outer sheath, with good flexibility and fire resistance, convenient installation. Common models are BTLY, NG-A, BBTRZ, YTTW, etc.
Performance Characteristics
- Fire resistance: mineral insulating materials do not burn at high temperature, can keep power supply in fire, through BS 6387 CWZ and other fire resistance test.
- High temperature resistance: Long-term working temperature can reach 250℃, short-term can withstand high temperature over 1000℃.
- Long life: inorganic material is not easy to aging, the service life is up to 100 years.
- Large flow-carrying capacity: good thermal conductivity, higher flow-carrying capacity than other cables of the same cross-section.
- Waterproof, explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant: seamless metal sheath provides good waterproof, explosion-proof and corrosion-resistant performance.
- High mechanical strength: the metal sheath protects the cable from mechanical damage.
- Environmentally friendly: Halogen free, no toxic gases are produced when burning, in line with environmental requirements.
